The main features of the industrial parks in Jinshan are: “High planning starting point, high construction speed, high concentration of industries and high-level services.”

Jinshan Industrial Zone: It is a municipal-level industrial park with a total planned area of 58 square kilometers. The first phase covers 22.8 square kilometers with biological medicine, electronic information, modern equipment manufacturing, producer services and high-tech research and development as key industries.

The second park of Jinshan Industrial Zone: It is a municipal-level industrial park next to Shanghai Petrochemical Co with a planned area of 10 square kilometers. The key industries there are petrochemical industries, fine chemicals, organic chemical new materials and non-petroleum chemical products.

Zhangyan Industrial Park of Jinshan Industrial Zone: It is at Zhangyan Town with a planned area of 6 square kilometers (including the home textile park of Shanghai textile industrial zone. The key industries are new material processing manufacturing, machinery manufacturing and home textile industries.

Shanyang Industrial Park of Jinshan Industrial Zone: It is in Shanyang Town with a planned area of 7.9 square kilometers. The key industries there are: petrochemical derivative products, machinery manufacturing and information technology.

Fengjing Industrial Park: It is a municipal-level industrial park including Shanghai International Textile Machinery City, Knitting Industry Park of Shanghai Textile Industry Zone and car manufacturing base with a planned area of 15.8 square kilometers. The key industries there are: car and motor bike manufacturing, modern textiles, equipment and brewing of yellow rice wines.

Zhujing Industrial Park: It is a municipal-level industry park with a planned area of 9 square kilometers. The key industries are: light Industry Machinery, new alloy materials, new building and decoration materials and light industrial products.

Jinshan Branch of Shanghai Chemical Industrial Zone: It is a supplement to Shanghai Chemical Industrial Zone with a planned area of 20 square kilometers in Caojing Town (the first phase of 3 square kilometers is under construction already). It has two parts: Caojing Branch of Jinshan Industrial Park and Logistics Park of Shanghai Chemical Industrial Zone. The key industries there are: modern service industry, modern chemical logistics, storage and transportation, chemical materials and services.

Agricultural product processing area of Jinshan Modern Agricultural Park: It is in Langxia Town with a planned area of 51 square kilometers, of which 4 square kilometers are the food processing area. The key industries are: food processing, equipment manufacturing and urban-oriented industries.

Tinglin Industrial Park: It is in Tinglin Town including the eastern industrial park, the western (formerly Songyin) industrial park and Tinglin trade and logistics park with a planned area of 6.38 square kilometers, focusing on the development of machinery and electronics, food processing, trade, logistics, new material manufacturing industry.

Lvxiang Industrial Area: It is in Lvxiang Town with a planned area of 5.92 square kilometers. It is made up of the original Lvxiang, Ganxiang industrial points and Pujiang Industrial Park. The key industries are: automobile parts, electrical and mechanical equipment, machinery and electronics and urban-oriented industries.
